Andrew Brown, artistic director of the Lancaster-Fairfield Youth
Choir and singer in the Lancaster Chorale, is a music educator in the Olentangy
school district, where he teaches general music, band and
4th & 5th grade orchestra. He completed his Bachelor of Music in Education and Master of Music Education degrees at Capital Universityand holds a Kodály certificate from the Kodály institute at Capital University.He has also studied internationally at the Hochschule für Musik in Dresden, Germany, and at the Kodály Institute in Kesckemet, Hungary.
He has performed with the Chapel Choir and Choral Union at Capital University, the Dresden Philharmonic Chamber Choir
in Germany, the Lancaster Chorale, Pro- Musica, the Cathedral choir in
Columbus, OH and with the Columbus Opera Project.
He has repeatedly been guest director for OMEA, and all county honor choirs
in Ohio and New York. This is his 14th season directing LFYC.
